Alpha 2 Macroglobulin (A2M)

A master protease inhibitor molecule naturally found in blood platelets and produced by the liver. A2M is used to halt the progression of osteoarthritis by binding to the enzymes that degrade the cartilage cells and tissues. Like PRP, A2M can boost healing and support tissue growth but at the same time can also postpone the need for more aggressive surgeries and procedures (although you may need to get these injections once a year or more).

Key Points:

  • A2M is like a Venus Flytrap that snaps the proteases that cause inflammation and degradation in the joint.
  • Result is often the complete arrest of osteoarthritis.
